JEE Main April 2019 Eligibility Criteria 

Only those candidates can submit the JEE Main April Application Form 2019 who will fulfill the required qualification. Candidates should go through the NTA Official Notification in detail so that they can get the complete information. NTA will not entertain the application of a non-eligible candidate in any situation. Candidates can read the essential qualification for the submission of application form below.

  • Candidates should have passed Class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/Institute either in 2017 or 2018. Those who will appear in the Class 12th or equivalent examination in 2019 are also eligible. Basically, the candidates appearing in the JEE Main April Counseling 2019 must have cleared the Qualifying exam and should be ready to start their BE/B.Tech/B.Arch courses starting July 2019. 

  • In order to apply for JEE Main April Session Application Form 2019, the aggregate score of candidates should be 50% in Class 12th as well as 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics each.

  • There are no age limit criteria for appearing in the JEE Main Examination.

JEE Main Application Form | JEE Main April Application Form 2019

The interested and eligible candidates shall be able to fill the JEE Main Application Form 2019 from 8th February 2019. The application form filling requires information such as Personal details, Contact, Educational Qualification. One should keep this information with him or her before filling the JEE Main April Session Online Form 2019. No candidate should send the form either through the registry or speed post as the application submission can only be done in online mode only. Any candidate submitting the form through any other means will not be accepted. Try to submit the Application Form as soon as possible in order to avoid the last minute rush.

Note: The candidates who had earlier registered during the January Session Examination can simply log in using their January Registration Credentials and Submit their Application Forms. The fresh registration is only required for the candidates who are going to apply for the JEE Main 2019 for the first time. If you have already applied and appeared in the JEE Main January Session, you are required to log in using January Login Credentials and apply for April Session too.

Stage 1 – Registration

The candidates who are registering for the first time would be required to make a fresh registration. Candidates shall be able to register themselves by using the link available on this page. Registration is the first stage of the submission of the application form. So, click on the link. The page to exercise the registration process will open in a new window. Candidates have to fill the following information while making registration.

  • State of Eligibility

  • Provide Identity Proof details (Ration Card, Aadhar Card, Bank Account details, Voter Id card).

JEE Main April Session Registration

 

Stage 2 – Filling of the Application Form

After completing the registration process, candidates are required to fill the application form. The application form filling will require information such as Personal details, Contact details, Qualifying Exam details, Selection of the Examination Center. All these information are essential and are mandatory while filling the application form.

JEE Main April Session Application for Previous Registration

  • Candidates have to select the Paper and the language of the question paper.

  • Then fill the personal details such as Name, Parent’s Name, Caste Category, Age etc.

  • After that fill the details of the Class 12th Examination in the available space.

  • Further, fill a valid contact number and email id for further communications.

  • Then select the examination center for appearing in the Paper 1 and Paper 2 examination.

  • Then create a password which should be of 8 to 13 characters and having at least one upper case, one lower case, one numeric value and one special character!@#$%^&*_.

Scanned Document Specifics for JEE Main April 2019 Application Form

The JEE Main April 2019 Application Form requires candidates to upload some important documents to complete the JEE Main April Application Form 2019. It is advisable that the candidates upload these documents according to the specification required. If the documents are not in the specified detail, it will not be accepted.

Candidate’s Photograph:

10KB – 200 KB File in JPG / JPEG Format. It is not necessary to mention the date on the Photograph.

Candidate’s Signature:

4 KB – 30 KB File in JPG / JPEG Format. The candidates must sign on a white paper using a black pen.

Stage 4 – Application Fee Payment

Making payment of the JEE Main April Application 2019 Fee is very important. Without paying the fee, no candidate can submit the application form successfully. New Implementations in JEE Main 2019 | JEE Main April 2019 Exam

Earlier Central Board of Secondary Education; CBSE used to conduct the academic entrance examination of JEE Main. Now NTA has taken over CBSE and established a new set of rules for the latest JEE Main April 2019 Examination Pattern. National Testing Agency (NTA) has come up with some latest changes that are beneficial for the candidates and provides more opportunity for the candidates appearing in the JEE Main April 2019. Such candidates who are going to apply should be aware of the new introductions so that they would not face any issues in the future. Read the instructions introduced by NTA from below:

  • From 2019, National Testing Agency (NTA) is the responsible body for conducting the JEE Main 2019 Examination.

  • The signature of Parent /Guardian is not required while applying for the exam.

  • For Identity Proof details, a candidate can use Passport, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Bank Details, Ration Card or any other proof issued by a Government Authority.

  • The line of Age Limit has been removed and those who have completed Class 12theither in 2017, 2018 or will appear in Intermediate Exam in 2019 are only eligible. The candidates passing the qualifying exam in other years as mentioned will not be allowed to appear for the examination under any circumstances. Basically, the candidates appearing in the JEE Main April Counseling 2019 must have cleared the Qualifying exam and should be ready to start their BE/B.Tech/B.Arch courses starting July 2019. 

  • In order to apply for JEE Main April Session Application Form 2019, the aggregate score of candidates should be 50% in Class 12th as well as 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics each.

  • Candidates who are not comfortable with the online application procedure can use the facility of Common Services Centres (CSC). There are 1.5 lakhs CSC across the country in the rural as well as in urban area which will help in application form submission as well as in making fee payment via e-wallet.

Note: Admissions to IITs will be based only on category-wise All India Rank (AIR) in JEE (Advanced), subject to conditions as defined in JEE (Advanced)–2019 website.

JEE Main April Application Form Modification 2019

Once the JEE Main Application Procedure for April Session ends, the National Testing Agency will release a link for JEE Main April Session Application Modification. The candidates would be able to make JEE Main April Application Correction through the link. We will provide you with the direct link to make the JEE Main Application Modification 2019. It is mandatory that candidates go through the application forms properly before they submit their corrections. There may be Fees applied for the modifications. We advise you to fill in your NTA JEE Main April Online Form 2019 in one go correctly to avoid paying extra fees. The candidates would be able to modify basic details except for Registered Email ID and Phone Number.

JEE Main April 2019 – Exam Centers 

National Testing Agency has released a list of JEE Main April 2019 Exam Centers for the candidates to choose from. While filling in the JEE Main April Session Application Form 2019 the candidates are asked to submit their choice of JEE Main April 2019 Exam Centers. The candidate can choose a minimum of 4 centers and NTA then appoints the Exam Center based on the choice, availability of seat and convenience. In case you find your JEE Main Exam Center April 2019 different from what you chose, kindly abide by NTA’s decision. There is no mode to change the JEE Main April Session 2019 Exam Center.

JEE Main April 2019 – Mock Tests 

National Testing Agency will release an official link for the candidates to practice for the JEE Main Examination preparation. All the candidates who are expecting to appear in the examination will be able to visit the official website of NTA and log into the Candidate’s Portal and attempt the JEE Main Mock Test. Also, Test Practice Center will be active for a few days before the Main Examination. The candidates who register for the TPC will be allocated a Test Practice Center Address and through the given Login ID & Password will be able to appear in the JEE Main April 2019 Mock Tests. 

JEE Main April Admit Card 2019 

National Testing Agency will conduct the JEE Main April Session 2019 Exam starting from 6th April 2019. The candidates would be able to download JEE Main April Admit Card 2019 from the official website of NTA JEE Main. On the candidate’s portal, the applicant is supposed to log in using their Application Number and Password / Date of Birth. Thus, gaining the access to download their JEE Main April Hall Ticket 2019. All the important details about the examination and the appearing candidate will be mentioned on the JEE Main 2019 April E- call Letter. The candidate appearing for the JEE Main IInd Attempt 2019 must be in possession of their admit card or they will not be allowed to appear in the examination. 

JEE Main April Answer Key 2019

Once the JEE Main Examination is over, NTA will release the solutions of the examination papers as JEE Main April Answer Key 2019. The candidates would be able to visit the candidate’s portal and log into the website to download their JEE Main April Answer Key 2019 Provisional or Final. 

JEE Main April Result 2019 Declaration

For each session of the exam, Result will be declared for each session. Finally, once the JEE Main April Result 2019 is declared. The candidates will be judged on the basis of the scores of the best exam they took. For example, A candidate scores better in January Session and less in April Session, then their score from January Session will be considered. For each paper results will be announced separately as; JEE Main April Paper 1 Result & JEE Main April Paper 2 Result. Once the scorecards are released the candidates would be ranked according to the best of 2 scores and will finally be called in for JEE Main April Counseling 2019

JEE Main Rank List 2019 will be announced after the JEE Main April Exam Is over. The candidates January Session Result as well as JEE Main April Result 2019 will be considered. All the candidates are advised to perform well in the exams. As the final Result will be made considering the best result of the candidate. Thus, JEE Main IInd Attempt is an open opportunity to increase and better your scores. If you have not appeared for the JEE Main January Exam no worries your April Marks will be considered and vice-versa. 

JEE Main April Cut off 2019 

Each Institute that is considered a participating Institute in the JEE Exam will be releasing its separate JEE Main April 2019 – Cut off for the candidates admiring admissions in these institutes. For Example: IIT Madras, will release its JEE Main Cut Off 2019 looking at the candidate’s scores and admission proposal along with the seats available. The candidates who fulfill the JEE Main Cut off 2019 April will be able to apply successfully in IIT Madras. Based on their Ranks, IIT will grant them seats and admissions in the college for various courses.

JEE Main April Counseling 2019 

National Testing Agency is an authoritative body for conducting the examination, though the final JEE Main April Counseling 2019 will be conducted by the individual Institutes. Universities and Colleges/ Institutes release their separate Cut Off, Once you clear the cut off of the particular course, in an institute you can take the admissions. You would be required to fill in the Admission Forms and Apply and according to your JEE Main 2019 Scores, you will be given admissions in the eligible fields of Engineering courses.

A total of 31 NITs, 23 IIITs and 23 Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) will be the participating institutes of JEE Main 2019. Candidates who will clear JEE Main will be eligible to apply for admission to JEE Main participating institutes 2019. FAQs Important Questions | JEE Main Application Form April 2019

Ques: How can I check the status of my JEE (main)-2019 examination fees?

Ans: The candidates are required to check the status of fee payment at the NTA website. The candidate should take the printout of Confirmation Page. In case, the Confirmation Page is not being downloaded. The candidates are advised to follow as following:-

  • If the fee is paid through e-challan by depositing cash in the nearest SBI bank, the candidate should contact immediately the concerned bank to update his/her fee
    status on the website.
  • If the fee is paid through credit/debit card and status is not OK, wait for at least 48 hours for the update. If still not updated, it means the transaction is canceled and
    the amount will automatically be refunded to concerned credit/debit card within 7 – 10 days. Therefore, such candidates have to pay the fee once again and ensure
    the OK fee status.

Ques: I have no access to a computer and no experience with an online examination. How can I prepare for the examination?

Ans: NTA will be identifying schools, colleges, and other institutions with internet and computer facilities in due course of time. The same will be designated as Test Practice Centers (TPCs) for facilitating free practice sessions.

Ques: Is it necessary to appear in JEE (Main) Examination twice? If I give the examination on both the occasions, which score will be considered?

Ans: No, it is not necessary to appear in JEE Main twice. This could be optional for the candidate to appear once or twice for the current academic session. In case a candidate appears in both the tests, the better of the two scores will be used for the admissions and eligibility for JEE Advanced 2019 they have attempted both the examinations, best of the scores would be taken for the merit list.

Ques: Will the application of JEE Main 2019 be rejected if a candidate has filled duplicate forms?

Ans: Multiple forms leads to cancellation of Application Form of JEE Main 2019. However, NTA will accept one Application Form and Admit card will be issued on only single Application Form. Kindly refer to point No-2 in “IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND DATES AT A GLANCE” of Information Bulletin for JEE Main 2019.

Ques. When can I apply for JEE Main April 2019?

Ans. JEE Main April Application Form 2019 will be starting from 8th February 2019. You can apply till the last date that is 7th March 2019. Read the Information Brochure before applying. 

Ques. What is the cutoff of JEE Main 2018?

Ans. Once the final JEE Main Result is announced, each participating Institute will release their separate JEE Main Cut off 2019. The candidates can take the reference from the above-mentioned PDF link in regards to previous year cut off. 

Ques. How can I edit my JEE application form?

Ans. National Testing Agency will release a link for JEE Main Application Modification. You can correct your basic details except for Registered Number and Email ID. The link will also be uploaded above after the Application Process is over. 

Ques. How can I correct my JEE main form 2019?

This link will only be feasible for the candidates who have already submitted their application form along with the application fee. Ques. How can I download JEE Main Admit Card 2019?

Ans. Only the candidates whose applications are accepted for the examination will be able to download the JEE Main Admit Card 2019. The candidate can follow some simple steps like:

Ques. How many times can we give JEE mains?

Ans. Based on the year of passing your Qualifying Examination (12th Exam), you can apply for JEE Mains. If you have qualified your QE in March 2018, you are eligible for JEE Main 2019, JEE Main 2020, JEE Main 2021. That totals up to 2 attempts each year, thus 6 attempts. 

Ques. Who will conduct JEE Main 2019?

Ans. By the year 2018, CBSE was the Examination authority. From the year 2019 and henceforth, National Testing Agency will be conducting JEE Main 2019. 

Ques. What is the last date of JEE Mains 2019?

Ans. By 7th March 2019, you are supposed to apply for the JEE Main April 2019. JEE Main January 2019 is already over. You can apply for JEE Main 2019 IInd Attempt April Session starting from 8th February 2019. 

Ques. How many attempts are there in JEE Mains 2019?

Ans. Now only the April 2019 attempt is left. Each year candidates can appear in JEE Main exam twice. JEE Main January 2019 attempt is already over. Thus, the candidates are left with only 1 attempt, that is JEE Main April 2019 this year. 

Ques. How many marks are required to clear JEE Main?

Ans. JEE Main Cut off is already discussed above. Each participating institute will release its own JEE Main Cut off 2019. The candidates can check the respective Cut off and apply accordingly in the respective colleges for particular courses.

JEE Main January 2019

Joint Entrance Examination Main 2019 is the Engineering entrance exam that is conducted every year for the candidates who aspire to take admissions in prestigious Engineering colleges. The examination has been very popular for the pre-admission process all across the country and to many other countries as well. Earlier the examination was conducted by one of the 16 IIT’s in India. The IITs under the guiding counsel of CBSE, Central Board of Secondary Education used to conduct the entrance examinations like JEE, NEET, UGC – NET etc.

In the recent news and announcements, Ministry of Human Resource and Development announced the news that JEE Mains exam will be conducted by NTA, twice a year. The JEE Main 2019 examination will be conducted in multiple sessions from 6th April 2019 to 20th April 2019. It will be conducted online as a Computer Based Exam. The examination will be conducted in online mode only except the Drawing Paper which will be in the Pen- Paper mode. The aspirants can appear in both the examinations thus, they will not lose a time period of 1 year which was earlier the case. Showing enthusiasm toward the test, 9.65 lakh candidates have applied for the January session of JEE Main 2019. The registration process was earlier conducted in September and examinations were conducted in January 2019.

JEE Main 2019 Exam Process

Joint Entrance Exam 2019 process started with the first release of Notification. JEE Main 2019 is being conducted by NTA twice this year. The second set of notification will release in 8th February 2019. The candidates have already applied for the first set of Exams from 1st September 2019 to 30th September 2019.
