NTA has postponed the April & May session exam due to COVID 19 situation. The revised dates will be announced later on and at least 15 days before the examination. Earlier the authority has extended the correction facility for the April session. Earlier the result for the March session was released on 24th March 2021. National Testing Agency (NTA) is the responsible body for conducting Joint Entrance Examination Mains 2021. JEE Mains is a national-level entrance examination for admission into B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Plan programmes.  Joint Entrance Examination is conducted for admissions in IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. JEE Main Exam is conducted twice every year. It is divided into 2 parts: Paper 1 & Paper 2. For both sessions, the candidate is required to apply separately. These dual session changes were made early in 2018, stating that the changes were initiated for the benefit of the applicants. JEE Mains 2021 Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria is the basic qualification a candidate must possess in order to sit for the examination. If you do not fulfill the JEE Mains eligibility criteria, you can not apply for the JEE Mains Examination. The following are the criteria each candidate must fulfill.

  • Passed Class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/ Institute either in 2018 or 2019. Those who will appear in the Class 12th or equivalent examination in 2020 are also eligible. Basically, the candidates appearing in the JEE Main 2020 Examination must have cleared the Qualifying exam.
  • In order to apply for NTA JEE Main 2021 Application Form, the aggregate score of candidates should be 75% in Class 12th as well as 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics each.
  • There are no age limit criteria for appearing in the JEE Main Examination.

Jee Mains 2021 Exam Centres

While filling the application form, the candidates will have to choose a maximum of 4 exam centers- cities from 329 test cities in India and 9 abroad. JEE Main Exam Center availability is based on when the candidate applies for the examination. That is a first come first serve basis. In case, the exam cities are not available for the candidate, then candidates must choose the exam centers as per their availability. The complete name and address of the allotted exam center will be available on the admit card of the candidates.

JEE Main Application Form 2021

In order to apply for NTA JEE Main 2021, follow the below steps to apply on JEE Main Application Form 2021.

Step 1: Candidate Registration & Candidate’s Login

Visit the official website of the National Testing Agency then follow the JEE Main website through it. Use Your Valid Email ID and Phone Number and submit these details on the official website of the NTA. Further, you will receive an automated generated Email from the National Testing Agency with the details of your Registration Number and Password.

Each Registered Candidate will receive their JEE Main Login 2021 credentials after the successful registration. JEE Main Login can be used to access the Candidate’s Portal. All the important documents such as result scorecard, admit card, etc. are released and can be accessed through the candidate’s portal only. The Login Details include the candidate’s Registration Number and Password. Use these details in order to log onto the Candidate’s Portal. Click on the Application Link and submit the required details.

Step 2: Online Form Filling

Once the candidate makes there login on the Candidate’s Login Portal they can see the Application Link. Then click on the link and fill in your details. Candidates have to submit the details such as Personal Details, Communication Details, Educational Details, and Other Details. The candidate is also required to submit their choices of JEE Main Exam Centers. Once you are filling the form, check and verify all the details filled. Without verifying all the details do not submit your form.

Step 3: Upload Scanned Documents

In the official notification, it is clearly mentioned the size and format of the scanned documents. So, candidates are supposed to scan their Passport size image and maintain it into the prescribed measurements and upload the same. The photo of the candidate must be colored and fresh. Do not submit an old photograph of yours. Also, submit a scanned copy of your signature. Both the files should be in JPG/ JPEG format.

Step 4: Payment of JEE Main Application Fee

The candidate is required to pay their fees for the completion of the Application Form. Verify all the details submitted, check that scanned documents are correctly uploaded. Then proceed to pay the fee, the candidate can pay the Application Fee through Net Banking, Challan, or Debit / Credit Card. The candidate would in 2 days be able to see their Fee submission status.

Step 5: Print JEE Main Application Form 2021 Confirmation Page

After all the process and fee confirmation, the candidates can log in again and download their Confirmation Page. This is proof that the candidate has filled in the application form and submitted their fee successfully. The confirmation page will mention the candidate’s Registration Number as well as the Application Number. The candidate can use their Application Number along with the Date of Birth detail to Log on to the Candidate’s Login Portal.

JEE Main 2021 Application Correction

It is advisable to go through the brief steps properly before filling the application form to avoid any mistakes. However, in case you make a slight mistake, there is no need to worry. NTA launches a link to correct the application form. So, the candidates can correct the application form in the given time period. Once the link is closed, no candidate can make any corrections. Therefore, it is important to stay up-to-date with the official dates.

JEE Main 2021 Exam Pattern

In the official notification, complete details of the JEE Main 2021 Exam Pattern is given. The candidates who are appearing for the examination must check the details before appearing for the examinations. NTA will conduct the exam in online mode except for the drawing paper. The examination of Paper 1 and Paper 2 is of 3 hours. The examination contains 75 questions in Paper 1 and 77 in Paper 2. For each correct answer, a candidate will score 4 marks and for each incorrect response, 1 mark will be subtracted from the total marks.

NTA JEE Mains Admit Card 2021

JEE Main Hall Ticket 2021 is an authority letter that provides proof that the candidate is eligible to apply for the examination. The Admit Card mentions all the important details of the candidate and the examination itself. Candidates should download the NTA JEE Main Hall Ticket for appearing in the examination. Without JEE Main 2021 hall ticket, no candidate will get permission to appear in the examinations. Jee Mains Exam Answer Key 2021

National Testing Agency has released the JEE Main 2021 Answer Key on its official website. After the exams are over, various academic institute releases their own Answer Keys which are unofficial. Later in a few days, NTA releases the Provisional JEE Main Answer Key on the official website. Candidates have the opportunity to challenge the provisional answer key. Further, the authorities will carefully analyze the doubts and queries. Then finally, NTA will publish the JEE Main Final Answer Key 2021. NTA JEE Main Response Sheet 2021

The Response Sheet is the OMR sheet of the candidate that the candidate submitted during the examination. JEE Main Counselling 2021

    Who can apply for JEE Main 2021?

    What is the advantage of appearing in both sessions’ examination?

    What is the percentage criteria if a candidate wants admission in NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs?

    For admission in IIT first, a candidate has to qualify JEE Main with the marks by which he/she becomes eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced. After that the candidate has to qualify for JEE Advanced then he/she will get admission to IIT. Apart from this, a candidate should have secured 75% in class 12th.
