JEE Main 2020 Eligibility Criteria
The Official Notification of JEE Main 2020 will release on the official website of National Testing Agency. JEE Main Official Notification will mention all the important details about the academic examination like JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2020. The Eligibility Criteria is the basic qualification a candidate must possess to be able to appear in the examination. It is important that you go through the Official Notification, to know all the important details of the Eligibility Criteria. If you do not fulfill the eligibility criteria, you can not apply for the JEE Mains 2020 Examination. Following are the criteria each candidate must fulfill.
Candidates should have passed Class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/Institute either in 2018 or 2019. Those who will appear in the Class 12th or equivalent examination in 2020 are also eligible. Basically, the candidates appearing in the JEE Main 2020 Examination must have cleared the Qualifying exam and should be ready to start their BE/B.Tech/B.Arch courses starting July 2020.
In order to apply for JEE Main January 2020 Application Form, the aggregate score of candidates should be 50% in Class 12th as well as 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics each.
There are no age limit criteria for appearing in the JEE Main Examination.
JEE Main 2020 Application Form
All the candidates aspiring to apply on JEE Main 2020 Online Form must be eligible to do so. Go through the official notification and then only proceed to apply for the Application Form. The application form is released on the official website. Only Online applications are accepted and there is no mode of offline Applications. JEE Mains 2020 Applications are expected to start in the month of September 2019. The candidate would be required to Register themselves for applying in the JEE Mains 2020.

Visit the official website of the National Testing Agency and follow through the JEE Main website through it. Use your Valid Email ID and Phone Number and submit these details on the official website of the NTA. You will receive an automated generated Email from the National Testing Agency with the details of Registration Number and Password.
Each Registered Candidate will receive their JEE Main Login 2020 Credentials after they have registered successfully for the examination. JEE Main Login can be used to access the Candidate’s Portal. All the important documents like result scorecard, admit card, etc. are released and can be accessed through the candidate’s portal only. The Login Details include candidate’s Registration Number and Password. Use these details and log onto the Candidate’s Portal. Click on the Application Link and submit the required details.
Online Form Filling:
Once the candidate makes there login on the Candidate’s Login Portal they can see the Application Link. Visit the link and fill in your details. You are required to submit Personal Details, Communication Details, Educational Details, and other Details. The candidate is also required to submit their choices of JEE Main 2020 Exam Centers. Once you are filling the form, check and verify all the details filled. Without verifying all the details do not submit your form.
Upload Scanned Documents:
In the official notification, it is clearly mentioned about the size and format of the scanned documents. The candidates are supposed to scan their Passport size image and maintain it into the prescribed measurements and upload the same. The photo of the candidate must be colored and fresh. Do not submit an old photograph of yours. Also, submit a scanned copy of your signature. Both the files should be in JPG/ JPEG format.
JEE Main 2020 Application Fee Payment:
The candidate is required to pay their fees for the completion of the Application Form. Verify all the details submitted, check that scanned documents are correctly uploaded. Then proceed to pay the fee, the candidate can pay the Application Fee through Net Banking, Challan or Debit / Credit Card. The candidate would in 2 days be able to see their Fee submission status.
Print Confirmation Page:
After all the process and fee confirmation, the candidates can log in again and download their Confirmation Page. This is proof that the candidate has filled in the application form and submitted their fee successfully. The confirmation page will mention the candidate’s Registration Number as well as the Application Number. The candidate can use their Application Number along with the Date of Birth detail to Log on to the Candidate’s Login Portal.
Jee Main 2020 Exam Dates

Admit Card for Jee Main 2020 January Exam
JEE Main Admit Card 2020 is released for the candidates whose applications are correctly submitted. It is an authority letter that provides proof that the candidate is eligible to apply for the examination. The Admit Card mentions all the important details of the candidate and the examination itself. Appearing Candidates are required to download the JEE Main Admit Card and appear in the examination. In the absence of the hall ticket, the candidates would not be allowed to appear in the examinations. Submit your login details on the Candidate’s Login Portal and Download the JEE Main Admit Card 2020.
JEE Main 2020 Exam Pattern
In the official notification, complete details of JEE Main 2020 Exam Pattern is explained. The candidates who are appearing for the examination must check the details before appearing for the examinations. The exam will be conducted online mode except for the drawing paper. The examination is of 3 hours and conducted as Paper 1, and Paper 2. The examination contains 90 questions in Paper 1 and 82 in Paper 2. Each correct answer will be awarded +4 marks and each incorrect response would deduct -1 mark from the total marks.
JEE Mains 2020 Syllabus
The Exam patterns help the candidate in preparing for the examination as well as to maintain their time management. JEE Main 2020 Syllabus will be almost similar to the syllabus in 2019. Jee Mains 2020 Exam Centers
While filling the application form, the candidates will have to choose a maximum of 4 exam center- cities from 264 test cities in India and 9 abroad. JEE Main Exam Center availability is based on when the candidate applies for the examination. That is first come first serve basis. In case, the exam cities are not available for the candidate, then candidates must choose the exam centers as per their availability. The complete name and address of the allotted exam center will be mentioned on the admit card of the candidates.
JEE Main Response Sheet
The Response Sheet is the OMR sheet of the candidate that candidate submitted during the examination. Exam appearing candidates would be able to visit the official website and then download the response sheet. Compare your answers and calculate your marks. Only be confirmed with the Final answer keys. Although the final result declared would be considered as the final marks scored by the candidate, announced by the National Testing Agency.
Answer Key for Jee Mains 2020 Exam
National Testing Agency will release the JEE Main 2020 Answer Key on its official website. After the exams are over, various academic institute releases their own Answer Keys which are unofficial. Later in a few days, NTA releases the Provisional JEE Main Answer Key on the official website. The candidates are required to submit their doubts. Then finally, NTA releases JEE Main Final Answer Key 2020. The candidates can check their answers and see to it if they have submitted correct answers or not.
Once the examination is all done with, JEE Main Result 2020 will get released on the official website of NTA. The candidates can visit the official website of the National Testing Agency and download the Result. In the scorecard candidate’s marks and qualifying, status is mentioned. The candidate is required to bring this scorecard at the time of the counseling process.
Joint Seat Allocation Authority conducts the JEE Main 2020 Counselling. The candidates are allotted the seats in National Institute of Technology, Indian Institute of Information Technology and Government Funded Technical Institutes. The candidate aspiring for the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) must clear IIT Advanced to claim the seats.
